How To Install KT200 New Software V12.10?
Step 1: Download the kt200 service and installation package, Unpack the packages and complete the installation.
Step 2: Connect the device, open the  "Device manager" in your computer and manually install the device driver. After completion, open the kt200 service
Step 3. Click " download software" in kt200 service to install the KT200 work software, it will automatically update to the newest version, and wait for the installation.
Step 4. Click the "Wiring diagram "to download (this has all the wiring pictures the device supports), and it will automatically download and complete the installation.
Step 5. After completing software download, You can open the software normally. And after downloading the Wiring diagram, you can do the ecu work normally.

User Feedback: when using ECUHELP KT200 car truck version to write VW Simos PCR2.1, it does not response with error message “ECU LOCKED by EEPROM /FLASH” (shown as below), how to solve this problem?

Solution:
Please firstly unlock PCR2.1 with ECUHELP KT200 via OBD or on Bench. 

Prepare:
1. Encrypt before unlocking pcr2.1 on Bench.
2.Give 13V power supply instead of 12V, 12.4V etc. 
3. Please ensure correct checksum.

Method 1: ECUHELP KT200 unlock PCR2.1 on Bench or via OBD.  
Connect the bench box v.2 to the tool and connect the
multifunction cable as follows:


To read and write use the following driver:
→ BENCH MODE
→ VW / AUDI / SEAT / SKODA
→ TC1796 - VAG
→ SIMOS PCR2.1

ATTENTION:
In addition to reading/writing the full backup, you can also use this driver to unlock the serial write for the OBD driver "R/W MAPS":
By loading the EEPROM file, if the software sees that the Eeprom is locked, the following message will be displayed:
Set unlock EEPROM for serial maps programming?
Choosing OK will apply the unlock on the EEPROM and you can also write the ECU in OBD using the serial driver R/W MAPS.

This driver reads the file with virtual read and unlocks the control unit directly while writing by applying a patch on the micro file during writing.

ATTENTION: 
From now on it’s possible to read/write full backup of  the control unit and unlock the serial write for the "R/W MAPS" driver without opening the ECU  directly from pinout using the driver in the BENCH MODE section of the software. 
We also remind you that you can also read and write
PCR2.1 via OBD using the driver: 
SIMOS PCR 2.1 ONLOCK BY OBD *CAN 
This driver reads the file with virtual read and unlocks the control unit directly while writing by applying a patch on the micro file during writing

Below we show how to connection via Boot:
Kit to use: 
- Multifunction cable 
- 2 resistances of 560 Ω 
- 1 resistance of 1000 Ω 

PASSWORD SEARCH:
Connect the pinout below with multifunction cable. 
Use the driver: 
→ TOOLS BOOT MODE 
→ INFINEON TRICORE Tool Password 
→ PASSWORD SIMOS PCR2.1 
→ Click on “Find Password” and follow the 
 software messages.


Now that the password has been found it’s possible to read and write the control unit. See next step.
