Tried to use kt200 to R /W E78 with failure, and was told E78 is new ECU and then I ordered IO Prog to calculate the SEED as Key, then R / W data without problem.

Very good. In fact he is the authentic Io, however in place of the chip there is a memory. Works the same as the original for GM.

"GM E98"
I use kt200 to read GM E98, but it doesn't seem to read the whole ecu.
so I used my i/o prog and hooked up to it and read the ecu, now the i/o prog can read more of the ecu. With I/o prog I can read the emulated eeprom, the MPC5674 flash and the shadow password.
With Kt200 I can read a 4meg flash file and a 64kb eeprom file and that's it.
GM even has you do a ecu removal step before removing the ecu from the vehicle.
