I got kt200 and just upgraded to the kt200II from what I can tell is KT200 doesn't need BS activating and has more servers.

It is possible to connect to the control unit using the Multifunction Cable supplied, or with the DFB-D48CBB04 – TRW EMS2.2/3/4 cable.
