Read & Write SID321 ECU on Bench with KTflash + J2534 Interface

Required Tools & Equipment:
KTflash software (installed on PC)
KTflash dongle (active subscription for SID321 protocol)
J2534 Interface
ECU: SID321
Bench wiring cables
Power supply (3A 14V recommended)
USB cable
Step 1: Software Setup
Launch the KTflash software on your PC.
Click the yellow icon located in the top-right corner to access the programming interface.
Insert the KTflash dongle into the USB port. Ensure the necessary protocol for SID321 is subscribed.
Step 2: ECU Identification
After dongle initialization, log in to the KTflash software.
Click on the “Manager” tab.
In the search bar, enter SID321, then select the matching ECU model from the list.
Step 3: Hardware Connection
Click the “Wiring Diagram” button to open the connection diagram for SID321.
Connect the ECU following the pinout provided.
Plug in the J2534 Interface to the ECU.
Power the ECU using a stable 14V 3A power supply.
Connect the J2534 Interface to the PC via USB.
Once all connections are secured, close the wiring diagram.
Step 4: Read Flash Data
Click on the “Read Flash” option.
The KTflash software will communicate with the ECU and extract the flash data.
Once reading is complete, click “Cancel” to close the read process screen.
Step 5: Write Flash Data
Click “Load Flash File”.
Select the previously read flash file or the new modified file you wish to write.
Click “Write Flash” and confirm when prompted.
Wait until the process completes. Do not disconnect or power off during writing.
Completion
The flash data has now been successfully read and written on the SID321 ECU using
KTflash with
J2534 Interface. You may now safely disconnect the ECU and tools.
Notes:
Always double-check wiring before powering the ECU.
Ensure your power supply is stable during the operation.
Back up the original file before writing any modified data.
